Jungle WhispersVolcanoes National Park - Rwanda Gorilla Tours

Volcanoes National Park, located in the northwestern region of Rwanda, is a breathtaking segment of the Virunga Massif. Covering an area of 62 square miles filled with vibrant rainforest, this extraordinary park includes five of the eight volcanoes that form the Virunga Mountains: Karisimbi, Bisoke, Muhabura, Gahinga, and Sabyinyo. It serves as a refuge for more than 400 Mountain Gorillas and approximately 1,000 golden monkeys. Additionally, the park is historically significant as it was once the operational base for the esteemed American primatologist Dian Fossey during the early 1990s.
